In 3rd grade, students begin to ask more questions and their natural curiosity is harnessed to foster critical thinking skills. Students’ individual talents really start to reveal themselves and are encouraged by the teaching staff at Capstone alongside the intentional development of leadership skills to help students to view themselves as individuals called by God to positively change the world around them. In our private 3rd grade curriculum, students’ reading skills develop far enough that they are able to conquer more challenging chapter books and learn to read subjects outside of their immediate interests. Students begin to have a stronger understanding of Christian identity and are better equipped to answer challenging moral questions from a biblical worldview.  ​
