Capstone Christian Academy has truly been a rewarding chapter in my journey of Christian education. Commencing my teaching career in Christian schools back in 2001, I feel honored to bring the essence of Jesus and Christian values into my classroom each day.

My extensive experience spans across all grades, from preschool to high school. Over the years, I have not only been engaged in classroom teaching but have also successfully orchestrated summer and afterschool programs. One of my passions includes guiding students through 'Speech Meet' events, where I have had the privilege of both teaching and judging. Additionally, I initiated a parent prayer team and actively participated in the booster team at my children's school. Within our church community, I have taken the lead in facilitating small groups, Bible studies, and played a pivotal role in launching an additional church campus.

Beyond my professional commitment, Christian education holds a special place in my family's life. My husband, Paul, and I made a conscious choice to enroll our children in Christian schools from Kindergarten onward. Despite financial uncertainties, we have witnessed the Lord's faithful provision, underscoring our dedication to Christian education. Today, our son serves as a Pastor in Las Vegas, and our daughter is a cherished member of the teaching staff at Capstone. We firmly believe that our children are our legacy, and the investment in their education echoes in their impactful roles today.

I’m a proud Charlotte, N.C. native and earned my Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. I currently hold a teaching certificate in the state of Nevada and have also been a teacher in a Clark County Public Charter School. Beyond the classroom, my dedication to service extends to the YMCA, where I have received numerous awards for outstanding contributions over several decades.
